The last twenty-five years was spent at a very successful elementary school, Michael M. Byrne. My assignment from 1987 to 2012 as a physical education teacher, disciplinarian, and basketball, special Olympic, and golf coach allowed me a firsthand look at student achievements, distractions, and motivational energies.
My professional observations and experiences have enabled me to write “What Works and How It Worked” when successfully performing everyday task but especially interacting with others. My thoughts guide me to character traits, which are positive. I received “Teacher of the Year Award” in 2003 by the Kiwanis Club 23rd Ward Garfield Ridge area and Golden Apple nominee.
