Ron Mosby grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended the University of Cincinnati, where he obtained his bachelor of arts degree in communication arts. Ron entered Navy Officer Candi...показать большеRon Mosby grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended the University of Cincinnati, where he obtained his bachelor of arts degree in communication arts. Ron entered Navy Officer Candidate School in November of 1985 and received his commission as an ensign in March 1986. Ron and his family returned to Cincinnati in 1995, where he worked at Fifth Third Bank until being asked to serve as chief of staff for a member of the Cincinnati City Council. Ron served as chief of staff for three members of the Cincinnati City Council before leaving in 1993. He was selected to serve as the public information officer for the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 8 in 1993. In 1995, Ron became senior manager of public affairs for Walmart, where he managed government and public relations for over 140 stores in the state of Ohio.
Currently, Ron serves as executive director for Journey to Liberty, a nonprofit, faith-based organization designed to assist individuals in discovering their distinct transformational path from personal bondage to freedom. He is also an elder at the Ekklesia of the Lord Jesus Christ, a fellowship that meets in the Northside area. Ron also hosts a weekly radio show entitled Glimpses of the Kingdom, which airs Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. on WGRI, Inspiration 1050 AM. Ron also serves on the North College Hill City Council.
Ron and his wife, Cynthia, have been married over thirty years. They have lived in North College Hill since 1997. They have four children and three grandchildren, and they are expecting a fourth later this summer.показать меньше
