Landman, now a well-known political and economic analyst. Ruda started working as a newspaper journalist in 1977, moving to radio, magazines and TV news-reading before taking her place in 1985 as co-anchor of South Africa's first live actuality TV programme, called Netwerk. The birth of her son, Johannes, in December 1986 ended that connection. She joined M-Net's Carte Blanche as one of two anchors at its inception in August 1988. Carte Blanche would in time become South Africa's top investigative news programme. Ruda spent nineteen years with the team, and she was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Stellenbosch for her work there. She works with the NGO StudyTrust, to which she is donating royalties from this book, to support university students. Ruda is a member of the board of Media24.показать меньше
