The third child in a family of six, she grew up with her sib...показать большеFrom the Eastern part of Nigeria, Obianuju C. Amamgbo is a native of Umunwajiobi-Dimogo in Ihiala LGA of Anambra state. The third child in a family of six, she grew up with her siblings at National Root Crops Research Institute quarters where their parents worked. She attended the NRCRI staff primary school and obtained her secondary education at Girls' Secondary School Umuahia, popularly known as Holy Rosary. She then proceeded to the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka where she bagged a BA in Linguistics. She followed that up with a Master's degree in Management of IT from The University of Nottingham, UK. Obianuju worked briefly for NRCRI as Information Officer before pursuing her Master's degree in the UK.
Obianuju developed interest in writing at an early age and was encouraged by family and friends. She published her first novel "Tears on Her Pillow" in 2007 and has other unpublished novels and short stories. She is also an author in Nigerian Village Square and Codewit Global Network.
Obianuju is physically challenged. She enjoys playing scrabble, watching movies, reading and writing, as well as watching sporting activities like football, athletics and tennis. She is an Arsenal fanпоказать меньше
