His parents, both first generat...показать большеTomas Vietorisz grew up in a cramped three-bedroom apartment in the heart of Greenwich Village, NY, with his two younger brothers and live-in nanny. His parents, both first generation immigrants, came to the US as young adults and met at the United Nations where they both worked—his mother having immigrated from pre-Castro Cuba and his father from pre-Soviet–controlled Hungary.
He left the city at the age of eighteen to attend college at Cornell University only to return four years later to attend medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He has been practicing community-based internal medicine and rheumatology for over twenty-five years in Stamford, CT. He currently lives in New Canaan, CT, with his wife, teenage daughter, and his delightfully obese (indoor) cat.показать меньше
