Saint Paul’s College, Lawrenceville, Virginia, (BS) Organizational Management Program (OMP) graduated May 9, 1999. Thereafter, entered the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia (VA Hospital) (clinical hours) and received a Certificate of Training in 1999, she also received Certification, Creation Therapy Counseling, Family Bible University, Baltimore, Maryland in 1999.
She received a Master of Divinity in Counseling at Family Bible University; Baltimore, Maryland; May 2000 and entered the Doctoral Program at Eastern North Carolina Theological Institute, Weldon, North Carolina, received, Doctor of Ministry Degree (Worship Studies) in July 2003. Continued studies in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and received, Ph.D. in Integrated Marriage, Family Counseling and Group Therapy from Family Bible University; Baltimore, Maryland, in April 16, 2005.
Dr. Winters served on the Board of Christian Education, facilitator of the Insight to Freedom Relationship Seminar, Volunteer Minister at the Parham Rehabilitation Center and Chaplain at the McGuire Hospital of Richmond, Virginia
She is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and provided services to Barnabas Counseling Center, Richmond, Virginia and Assistant Pastor at Friendship Baptist Church, Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Winters was Senior Administrator and Founder of Mary and Martha Christian Academy. She established home and school relations for K-12 Grades, conducting counseling session with parents and students.
Dr. Winters also established school policies and procedures. She provided an Individualized approach to learning and a Christian Education that would reach out to our youth challenging them to maximize their full potential, spiritually, cognitively and emotionally, to be all that they were intended to be.
